Towards the end of the first year, babies are allowed to nibble. But the cookies should not be too crumbly, too hard, too sweet and fatty.Our carrot cookies are only slightly sweet, soft and contain plenty of fiber – just right for baby!

Clean, rinse, peel and finely grate carrots. Stir through with oat flakes, rose hip pulp, almond kernels and cinnamon, pull about 20 minoten. Whip the egg whites with the juice of one lemon until very stiff, gradually pour in the honey. Then fold the dough mixture into the snow. Cover a baking tray with parchment paper. Using a teaspoon, place round or possibly elongated macaroons on the baking sheet – leaving a little space between each one. Bake in a heated oven at 160 °C (gas mark 1) for about half an hour until light brown. Then remove the paper from the baking sheet to the table. After a few minutes the macaroons can be easily removed from the paper with a kitchen knife.

Due to the low honey content, the cookies may mold in the tin.
