For the apricot cake, beat butter and sugar until fluffy, one at a time, add the whole eggs. Add salt, vanilla sugar. Finally, stir in the flour/tartar powder mixture with a little milk.

Spread on a baking sheet. Wash apricots, cut in half, remove seeds and spread evenly on the dough. Bake at 170 degrees hot air for about 45 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

The apricot cake can still be sprinkled with sliced almonds, etc. as desired.
