For the pecan cookies, first preheat the oven to 170 °C hot air. Cream the butter with the rum and the egg. Divide the pecans into small pieces. Knead all ingredients.
Make about 30 small balls from the dough. Divide the dough balls between 2 baking sheets, spacing them slightly apart. Bake the trays with the pecan cookies one after the other for about 14-18 minutes each.
