Instructions:

For the marshmallow sheep cupcakes, first place paper cups in a muffin tray or grease and flour the cavities. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Mix the melted butter with the milk, sugar and vanilla sugar in a large enough bowl. Then beat in the eggs one by one.

Sift the flour, cocoa and baking soda and add a pinch of salt. Mix this mixture just briefly into those with the wet ingredients. Do not work it too long. Then gently fold in the chopped chocolate.

Pour into muffin tins about 3/4 full and bake for about 20 minutes. Remove and let cool.

In the meantime, shape 12 heads and the corresponding ears out of marzipan. Carve the nostrils and apply the eyes (for example, with melted white or dark chocolate coating).

Melt the white couverture over a water bath. When the cupcakes are well cooled, stick the mini marshmallows all around with the chocolate coating and place the marzipan head on top. Let the marshmallow sheep cupcakes dry in a cool place.

Preparation Tip:

The marshmallow sheep cupcakes are a super eye-catcher at Easter or at a children's party.
