Instructions:

Preheat the grill. Peel the carrots, clean and wash the celery. Cut the vegetables into thin strips. Peel the ginger and grate finely. Finely chop the lemongrass and finely chop only the tender parts.

Spread out six squares (30 x 30 cm) of aluminum foil. Spread the vegetables on it with the ginger and lemongrass.

Wash the crocodile steaks, pat dry and place one steak on each foil. Mix the fish sauce with the soybean oil and drizzle over the meat. Top each with a slice of lemon.

Close the aluminum foil tightly and place the packets on the grill grate. Grill for 6 to 8 minutes, depending on desired doneness. Open the packets and sprinkle the crocodile steaks in the foil with coriander, mint and sesame seeds.

Preparation Tip:

Eating crocodile meat may still seem very exotic to some. But those who have tried it once are thrilled. The meat, which usually comes from the crocodile's tail, is white and tender like turkey meat and tastes similar. It is also like that high in protein and low in fat. Preparation is very simple, it can be briefly fried or processed like chicken. Crocodile meat comes basically from breeding farms.
